About Me

There are two sides of my life to describe here; the professional and the personal...

Professional
I has been involved with planning, developing and deploying enterprise software applications for over 15 years. My involvement in these processes expanded to include the PDA platforms starting in the late 1990’s. I am currently a Mobility Architect for Enterprise Mobile in Watertown, MA.

I have been a frequent writer for both online and trade publications, and have been a contributor to Pocket PC Magazine, Developer.com and CodeGuru.com. I also regularly present on mobility topics at both regional and national Pocket PC, Smartphone and PDA meetings and conferences.

I was awarded Most Valuable Professional ("MVP") status for Windows Mobile Devices by Microsoft Corporation in January 2004 for my work with the Windows Mobile user and developer communities. You can find out more about my work with the Windows Mobile community by viewing my profile at the Microsoft MVP site.

I am currently is Co-Manager of the Boston/New England Windows Mobile User and Developer Groups, and webmaster of BostonPocketPC.com. I can be contacted at donsorcinelli@bostonpocketpc.com.
