For the second time, HP has included BostonPocketPC.com in a blog-based giveaway contest. The last time was the HP 31 Days of the Dragon Contest (an HP HDX Dragon notebook), and the contest was quite a success. This time, we’ve been included as one of 50 blog sites worldwide to give away more than $6000 USD in HP hardware and accessories.

To find out more about the contest in general, you can visit the HP Magic Giveaway website. Our contest opened at 12:01 AM this morning and runs through 11:59 PM EST on Friday, December the 5th. We will announce the winner on December 6th. You can check out all of the rules and enter by reading this post over at BostonPocketPC.com.

It goes without saying that it is a privilege to once again participate in a great contest of this magnitude. Credit once again lies with Steve “fyiguy” Hughes, whose work with HP made the last contest a big success and will no doubt make this contest an even bigger success.

Just looked at my home page on Facebook when I noticed something a bit out of the ordinary -

So – is this trying to tell me something? Is it telling me something about my friends? About Facebook? Hmmm… time to watch everyone’s behavior :-)

As is want to happen from time to time, business and travel commitments have left us in a situation where neither Steve Hughes or myself will be available for our monthly group meeting this coming Wednesday, November 20th. As such, we have no alternative but to cancel our upcoming meeting.

After some discussion, Steve and I agreed that we will have a Holiday Gathering for our December meeting. This will occur on Wednesday, December 17th. Stay tuned for more details in the next couple of days!
